English Explanations
A subject of a sentence is the person or thing that does the action of the verb. You can use a pronoun instead of a noun or a name as the subject of a sentence. I, you, he, she, and it are singular subject pronouns. Use these words to talk about one person, place, or thing
You, we, and they are plural subject pronouns. Use these words to talk about more than one person, place, or thing.
Use a subject + be + an adjective or noun to give basic information about a person, place, or thing.
Use an apostrophe to make a short form with a subject pronoun + be. For example: He is = He's. Do not use a short form at the end of a sentence.
