1. Happy and excited are positive feelings. They show that a person feels good about something.

Example:

Good morning. Kathy, How do you feel? _I’m happy. Tomorrow is my birthday.

And what about you, Lisa? How are you? _I’m excited. Kathy’s party is tomorrow. I love parties!

2. Angry, nervous, lonely, and sad are negative feelings. They show that a person doesn' t feel good about something.

Example:

What’s wrong? You don’t look happy. _I’m not, I’m angry. This is a very expensive call phone. But it doesn’t work!

I’m nervous. I have a test tomorrow.

I’m lonely, my firends are all on vacation

I’m sad. Nobody loves me

3. Sick, tired, and hungry are physical feelings.

Example:

Are you ok, you don’t look very good _I’m sick. I need to see a doctor.

I’m tired. I want to go to bed
