Directions: Watch and listen to this conversation between James and Steve.
NARRATOR: James is visiting his friend Steve in New York. They are making plans for the weekend.
STEVE: So James, what do you want to do this weekend?
JAMES: I'd like to go in-line skating in Central Park.
STEVE: Wow, can you in-line skate now? I remember last year you couldn't.
JAMES: Yeah. I just learned a few months ago. I love it.
STEVE: Me too. Let's go on Saturday morning. And on Saturday night, do you want to come to Aunt Raven’s apartment for dinner? She's really unusual, but she's very nice.
JAMES: Oh, she sounds interesting. Dinner would be great.
STEVE: Good. And what are you doing on Sunday? Do you want to go to a basketball game at Madison Square Garden with me? I have an extra ticket.
JAMES: Sure. That sounds great. I really like to watch basketball, but I can't play it.
STEVE: Me neither! By the way, are you busy Friday night?
JAMES: No. Why?
STEVE: Andrea and I are going to the James Bond movie. You know, his new action film. Do you want to join us?
JAMES: No thanks. I usually like comedies and dramas better than action films. I saw an action film last night and it was very bad. The story was really boring.
STEVE: Oh, really? Well then I won't tell you about it when we go skating on Saturday!
